As solo travel soars in popularity, the single supplement fee on more than 40 hotel barge departures in 2019 are currently being waived on cruises that span eight regions across Europe. The cruise regions include France (Burgundy, Canal du Midi, Gascony); Venice and the Po Valley in Italy; the rugged Highlands of Scotland; and a tulip cruise in Holland. Eligible cruises are available from April through July 2019.
The growing presence of solo travelers on European hotel barge cruises provides a lively addition to the unique mix of international guests who share gourmet meals onboard, as well as exclusive excursions to castles, chateaux, local markets, and wineries, among other attractions.
