French Hotel Barge Renaissance: Revised 2016 Itinerary

Renaissance, the French Hotel Barge that cruises the Upper Loire and Western Burgundy, will be operating a revised itinerary for the remainder of 2016 due to flooding in the Loire area this June. There is damage to the northern part of the Canal de Briare and parts are not navigable.

For the remainder of 2016, Renaissance will be cruising an alternative route between Rogny-les-Sept-Ecluse and St-Satur. This itinerary is approximately 15 miles south of their standard cruise route on the Canal du Briaire, and the excursions offered are similar to the original cruise. Their usual pick-up and drop-off points in Paris remain the same.

  • July 3-9 : 4 cabins open. Available for private charter or as a cabin cruise.
  • July 24-30 : 1 cabin open, 3 booked
  • July 31-Aug 6 : 1 cabin open, 3 booked
  • August 7-13 : 1 cabin open, 3 booked
  • August 14-20 : 2 cabin open, 2 booked
  • August 21-27 : 4 cabins open. Available for private charter or as a cabin cruise.
  • September 4-10 : 4 cabins open. Available for private charter or as a cabin cruise.
  • September 11-17 : 2 cabin open, 2 booked
  • October 23-29 : 4 cabins open. Available for private charter or as a cabin cruise.
